Dancing

Heartland Dancing provides a variety of dancing opportunities in the community, for all ages. A public dance is held, complete with a DJ to play your requests, at the Canyon Lake Senior Citizens Center, 2900 Canyon Lake Drive, on the dates listed below. There is a free dance lesson offered from 7:30 - 8:00. These dances are open to the public at a cost of $5.00 per person. Music is played that will satisfy all avid dancers.

This camp is for ages 4 and up. Camp kids will learn some dance basics and a dance routine to fun and upbeat music. Everyone who participates in this camp will have the opportunity to perform on the Free Stage at the Heritage Festival.

Cost: $35.00 per person
Registration Deadline: June 26, 2009 (This is a fundraiser for the Hot Shots Dance Team so DON'T MISS IT!)

Sign up for 2 classes and receive a $5.00 discount per person per class

If you are signed up for a Couple's class you can take a Line Dancing Class for an additional $10.00.

Wanna be a Hot Shot Workshop

The Hot Shots Dance Team is a youth performance group that performs at numerous social events
such as half-time at ballgames, Heritage Festival, Kids and Health Fairs and other activities.
This workshop is for those who are at least 8 years old and would like to try out for the
Hot Shots Dance Team. Previous dance classes are recommended but not required.
Students will learn the try-out routine and the required steps for the Intermediate Team.
