FALL/WINTER SWIM LESSON REGISTRATION SCHEDULE

In-person registration will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Swim Center, 125 Waterloo Street. Online registration will be available starting on Monday, September 15th and call-in registrations will be accepted beginning Wednesday, September 17th at 9:00 am. If your first class choice is full, please ask to be placed on the wait list for that class.

The Swim Center DOES NOT accept mail-in registrations for swim lessons.

One day per week Monday evenings and Saturday mornings - $35.00
Two days per week Tuesday & Thursday evenings - $45.00
Adult/Senior lessons - $45.00

Welcome to the Rapid City Aquatic Division 2008 Swim Lesson Program. Please keep the following items in mind when enrolling your child in our program.

Attendance is important for your child. Make up lessons are not provided if you miss a lesson. It is important that the instructor develops a strong leadership role with the class. This will enable the instructor to conduct an orderly and disciplined class, as well as enhance each student’s confidence as they progress. We prefer parents watch the lessons from the seating area on the deck. 

In swimming as in other skills, some children will reach a learning plateau. If they are happy in lessons and wish to continue, we suggest they do. If they do become bored or discouraged, take a session off and try open swim or family swim. If during your child’s lessons you have questions or concerns which you feel cannot be discussed with your child’s instructor, please contact the Pool Manager or myself at 394-5223.

You may stay for open swim after lessons but will have to go to the front desk and pay to re-enter the pool area with a wristband. Open swim is not included in the fee for swim lessons.

To avoid conflicts with holiday schedules, lessons will be Monday-Thursday for 2 weeks - $40.00.
