Congratulations to Bobbi Jean Davis!

For the month of October, we are proud to present an individual that has made the difference in the lives of many young people through her volunteer activities.

Bobbi Jean Davis moved to Rapid City in the early 1980's as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. She is employed as an Operations Supervisor, Information Systems at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Bobbi is an ever-selfless volunteer. She has devoted thousands of hours to the Boy Scouts of America, serving as Scoutmaster of Troop 131, founding and current, Advisor to Crew 320 and was a District Award of Merit Recipient in 2000. Bobbi is on the Board of Directors of the Downtown Kiwanis Club, whose focus is the youth of Rapid City. She is the Commander of Post 320, past member of the Baseball Board of Directors of Post 320, District 13 Americanism Office and was one of the South Dakota Legionnaires of the Year in 2001. Bobbi is a member of several professional computing organizations. She is also a 2001 graduate of Leadership Rapid City.

Bobbi Dunfee who nominated Ms. Davis noted that "she is willing to get her hands dirty to get the job done. And while her chaotic schedule would test anyone's resolve, Bobbi manages not to only hold it together, but to serve each organization with honor."

Bobbi Jean has three children - Matthew, a student at the University of Wisconsin; Katherine, a student at SD School of Mines & Technology and Jennifer, a student at Stevens High School.
