The Operations Division of the RCDFES works out of a total of 7 Stations.
These include:

Station 1 - 10 Main St.
394-4180

Station 1 houses the Administrative Offices of the Education, and
Operations Divisions as well as Emergency Response Personnel.
Emergency vehicles at Station 1 include, Engine-1, Truck-1, Battalion-1, Brush-1,
CAFS-1, Engine -2 & two Ambulances, Medic-2 & Medic-5.

Station 3 - 102 Federal Avenue

Station 3 is the home of Engine-3, Brush-3,
and Medic-3

Station 4 - 700 E. Fairmont Blvd.

Station 4 response vehicles include Engine 4, Brush-4 and Med-4.
Station 4 is the Hazardous Materials Decontamination Specialty Station.

Station 5 - 2902 Park Drive

Emergency vehicles at Station 5 are Engine-5 and Fire/Rescue-5.
Station 5 also houses Dive Rescue-1 as well as the equipment of the
Rapid City/Pennington County Dive Rescue Team.
Station 5 is the Technical Rescue Specialty Station for the RCDFES.

Station 6 - 1930 Promise Road

Emergency response from Station 6 is provided by Engine 6, Brush 6, HazMat 6 and Med-6.
It is the home of the Rapid City/Pennington County Hazardous Materials Team.

Station 7 - 1205 North Maple

Station 7 is the home of Engine-7 and Medic 7.

Station 8 - 4190 Fire Station Rd.

Station 8 is located at the RC Regional Airport and provides Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting with CFR-8 and CFR-18. Station 8 also provides emergency medical response & Security at Rapid City Regional Airport
