Unified Narcotics Enforcement Team (UNET)
Supervisor Special Agent Pat West and RCPD Sgt. Tony Harrison currently supervise a multi-agency drug task force known as the Unified Narcotics Enforcement Team (UNET). The Rapid City Police Department is one of several agencies that make up the UNET, which is operated as part of the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI). Other agencies that make up the UNET include the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigations, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the South Dakota National Guard.

- Executed 91 drug-related search warrants
- Seized 194,472 grams of B.C. Bud Marijuana
- Seized 12,846 grams of commercial grade marijuana
- Seized 3,617 grams of ICE
- Seized 86 grams of Cocaine HCL
- Seized 1,951 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms
- Seized 1,053 grams of Heroin
- Identified and disrupted/dismantled 35 Drug Trafficking Organizations (DTO)
- Seized $300,124 in currency and $49,000 in property
