Honor Guard
The Rapid City Honor Guard formed in 1998 with a handful of officers for one special detail. They have since grown to a 9-member team that performs several details each year. They post and retire the National and State colors at many different functions in Rapid City and the Black Hills, and have served on burial details for law enforcement officers and politicians.
The current Honor Guard members are:

- Senior Officer Paul Wathen
- Officer Andy Becker
- Officer Matt Owczarek
- Officer Cade Bloomenrader
- Officer Christian Sigel
- Officer Rich Watkins
The Honor Guard is available to serve wherever honoring our country or flag is part of the ceremony.
