Tuesday, February 9, 2010: Triathlon Training Program Information Meeting and Training Overview. Begins at 6:30 PM at the Swim Center. Call 394-5223 for more information.
Featured Aerobics Class: Water Mom's in Motion. If you are expecting or trying to lose that baby weight, come to the Swim Center and help ease the aches and pains that come with pregnancy, or work off those pounds you put on! If you don't want to part with your new baby, feel free to bring him/her along to work out with you! Classes are offered on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
Rapid City's Triathlon Training Program
Information Meeting and Training Overview at the Swim Center: Tuesday, February 9, 2010 beginning at 6:30 pm.
This 16 week program will begin with informative seminars on swimming, biking, running and more! All participants will be e-mailed weekly challenges to help start your training. As weather permits, organized workouts will begin in the spring. The cost for the Training Program is $60 and includes the entry fee for the Rapid City Triathlon. Call the swim Center at 394-5223 for details.

29th Annual Tree Care Workshop
March 10, 2010
The 29th Annual Tree Care Workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Pennington County Extension Building, 601 East Centre Street. The cost for the workshop is $10 per person and several speakers are scheduled. Topics to be addressed include Developing Sustainable Landscapes, Tree Selection and Planting, the Emerald Ash Borer, and Mountain Pine Beetle "Forest Under Attack".
