Rapid City Historic Preservation Commission

Purpose:
To preserve historic buildings and archeological sites through public education, policy development, advocacy and governmental particiption; to conduct surveys of local historic properties, promote and conduct educational and interpretive programs on historic properties within the City, and recommend ordinances and provide information that will promote the preservation and restoration of historic properties and districts.

Meeting Location:
Commission meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Friday's of each month in the 3rd Floor West Conference Room of the City/School Administration Center, 300 Sixth Street at 7:30 a.m.  Contact the Growth Management Department at 394-4120 to confirm meeting dates and times.
