Rapid City Fire Department responded to a structure fire this morning, Dec. 12, 2011, at 608 E Watertown. First arriving units found heavy smoke showing and heavy fire involvement in the basement. There is extensive fire damage to the basement, with some extension to the main floor and attic area.
There are no injuries to report at this time. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
