		Gate Card Application

NEWS FLASH! Rapid City Regional Airport is updating the access control devices at all automatic gates. The new devices will facilitate centralized programming, improved management and additional security. However, new gate cards must be issued; the current TechniCards will become obsolete. To cover supply and administrative costs, there will be a $25 fee assessed for each card. The new devices will be operational June 1, 2008. Until then, your TechniCards will continue to work. To minimize wait times and not overwhelm our staff, we request that you apply for a new card at the airport administrative office between the hours of 1:00 and 4:00 pm according to the following schedule:

If your last name begins with Apply for your access card:

• A through G May 5 through May 9
• H through N May 12 through May 16
• O through T May 19 through May 23
• U through Z May 26 through May 30

	Gate Card Application Instructions

To apply for a Rapid City Regional Airport Gate Card, you will need to have:

1) A vaild drivers license
2) Proof of hanger ownership/lease or proof of airfield buiness ownership/employement (hanger contract, lease reciepts, paystubs, etc. suffice as proof)
3) A completed Non-Movement Area Driving Test (click on the "Vehicle Operations Training" tab)
4) A completed Gate Card Application (print and fill out the application from below)
5) A personal check or cash in the amount of $25

Gate cards will only be issued upon completion of Non-Movement Area Vehicle Operations Training, acceptance of this application, and approval of airport management.
