Airport Divisions

Board of Directors
The airport's board of directors is responsible for the general oversite, contractual agreements, and financial well-being of the airport.

Airport Executive Director
The airport executive director is tasked with the responsibility of directing the overall operations of the airport and addressing air-service issues.

Rescue & Fire Fighting (ARFF)
The aircraft rescue and fire fighting's primary mission is to provide emergency assistance to aviation related incidents and accidents. 

Operations & Security
The operations and security division provides assistance and training to ensure safe, secure commercial and general aviation operations at Rapid City Regional Airport.  In addition, they help to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Maintenance
The maintenance division of the airport is responsible for snow removal, building repairs, and custodial of all the facilities and grounds at the airport.

Finance & Administration
The division of finance and administration assists airport users, tenants, and staff achieve goals by providing human resources and financial support.

Employment
The airport is home of over 30 different businesses and each handles the employment needs of its staff.
